How to use www.kangarooisland.com.au

www.kangarooisland.com.au is an interactive web based tool that allows you to interact and share your Kangaroo Island experiences and memories. Below is a step by step guide on how to add your own memories to the website.

Share Your Photo

  1. Select Photo from the drop down in the bottom left of the Google Map window. Click on to add your own photo. The Share Your Memories form will now open up.
  2. Drop the onto the Google Map and to where the photo was taken on Kangaroo Island.
  3. Click on the Browse button to select the photo from your Computer. (We suggest that only gif, jpg, jpeg and png image files are uploaded and have a file size smaller than 1mb) Click on Open/Ok to confirm the chosen image.
  4. Enter your name into the Name filed and your email address into the Email field. Add a title for the image into the Title field and input a short explanation of the photo into the Description field.
  5. Click on Save to Save this information and to add it to the website.

Share Your Video

  1. Select Video from the drop down in the bottom left of the Google Map window. Click on to add your own video taken at Kangaroo Island. The Share Your Memories form will now open up.
  2. Drop the onto the Google Map and to where the video was taken on Kangaroo Island.
  3. Enter your name into the Name filed and your email address into the Email field.
  4. Enter the YouTube URL into the YouTube link field. Ensure to add the full URL including http://
  5. Add a title for the video into the Title field and input a short explanation of the video into the Description field.
  6. Click on Save to Save this information and to add it to the website.

Share Your Memories / Add A Review

To Share Your Review on a current Review or Attraction follow the steps below:
  1. Select the Review or Attraction by clicking on the tag/dot point on the Google Map.
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the pop up bubble and click on the Add Your Review hyperlink.
  3. The Share Your Memories form will now open up.
  4. Click on the relevant amount of stars to rate the Review or Attraction.
  5. Enter your name into the Name filed and your email address into the Email field. Add a title for your review into the Title field and input a short review into the Description field.
  6. Click on Save to Save this information and to add it to the website.
